International Women's Day was born from the demonstrations of socialist women who fought for their rights on March 8, 1909, in New York. Protests emerged in factories that employed women with low wages and mistreatment.
The action triggered similar movements in many other parts of the world with the theme of equality and broader demands for women's rights such as the right to vote, work, and not least the right to education.
International Women's Day can be a reminder, successor, and symbol of the struggle so that women around the world can always pursue progress.
Women have a significant role in giving birth to the civilization of humankind. Educating women is educating one generation of superior nation for the achievement of Indonesia Emas 2045.
Happy International Women's Day. Indonesian women can be anything!
