Jakarta, January 30, 2023 - Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency (LPDP) scholarship for the year 2023 is now open for postgraduate, doctoral, medical specialist, and subspecialist studies. Registration for the LPDP scholarship phase 1 selection is open from January 25, 2023, to February 25, 2023.
LPDP offers three types of scholarships: affirmative, targeted, and general. Similar to previous years, the LPDP 2023 scholarship selection process consists of consecutive stages, including administrative selection, scholastic talent selection, and substantive selection.
Prospective applicants can visit the official website lpdp.kemenkeu.go.id to understand all the terms and the list of targeted universities. The LPDP scholarship selection for the year 2023 is open twice. The registration for LPDP scholarship phase 2 selection will reopen on June 9, 2023, and close on July 9, 2023.
As of August 31, 2022, the cumulative principal amount of the Education Endowment Fund managed by LPDP from 2010 has reached Rp. 119,107T. This demonstrates the consistent allocation of the government's budget managed by LPDP in the form of the Education Endowment Fund over a decade.
This policy underscores the sustainability aspect of the state budget to prepare Indonesia's human resources through world-class education. LPDP scholarships continue to be awarded to Indonesian citizens who meet the criteria. LPDP's Director of Scholarships, Dwi Larso, hopes that when the beneficiaries of LPDP scholarships are in their golden age between 40 and 50 years old, they can lead Indonesia towards a better direction.
"They will all lead our nation in their time. Our hope is that Indonesia will have become one of the developed countries in the world," said Dwi Larso at the LPDP Scholarship Socialization event on Monday, January 30, 2023, coinciding with LPDP's 11th anniversary.
