Invitational RISPRO

Commercial RISPRO funding is a competitive research funding aimed at producing ready-to-commercialize products/technologies. It involves partnerships with manufacturers who will commercialize the research outcomes and is expected to transform prototypes into new products/technologies meeting industry standards or having certifications.

The Invitational RISPRO funding aims to finance research with specific themes that have the potential to generate intellectual property and/or practical prototypes of products/technologies suitable for industry or commercial use, all aimed at enhancing competitiveness.

The target of Invitational RISPRO funding is to support outstanding research based on invitations from LPDP.

The funding themes for Invitational RISPRO are tailored based on the policy for each batch of proposal submissions.

The outputs of Invitational RISPRO funding are adjusted according to the themes in each batch of proposal submissions.

The criteria for Invitational RISPRO funding are tailored based on the themes in each batch of proposal submissions.

1. Jangka waktu Pendanaan RISPRO Invitasi selama-lamanya 3 (tiga) tahun per proposal; dan

2. Pendanaan RISPRO Invitasi untuk tahun lanjutan dilaksanakan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tahun sebelumnya.

1. The proposed funding for Invitational RISPRO is on an annual basis for a maximum of 3 (three) years according to the needs and justifiability of the funding, as well as the expected outcomes.

2. The components of Invitational RISPRO funding are outlined as follows:

   1. Direct Costs, comprising at least 95% (ninety-five percent) of the total value of Invitational RISPRO funding, consisting of Personnel Direct Costs and Non-Personnel Direct Costs structured based on research activities to achieve research outcomes according to prevailing legislation.

   2. Indirect Costs, up to a maximum of 5% (five percent) of the total value of Invitational RISPRO funding, covering internal monitoring costs, administrative expenses, and/or other costs (such as institutional development costs) to support research implementation in accordance with applicable legislation.

3. The proposed total Invitational RISPRO funding has taken into account taxes or other costs in accordance with applicable legislation.

4. The amount of Invitational RISPRO funding is determined based on the Decree of LPDP's CEO.

5. The maximum total Personnel Direct Costs are 30% (thirty percent) of the total Invitational RISPRO funding, with the highest cost unit for the salary/honorarium of the research team as follows:

Invitational RISPRO funding can be utilized for the following purposes:

1. Salary/honorarium for the research team.
2. Wages for labor.
3. Purchase/acquisition of goods/consumables such as raw materials or production components, and/or references/data/books and office stationery.
4. Purchase/acquisition/rental of laboratory equipment/land/animals for observation or testing purposes, including laboratory testing services, industrial testing, and market testing.
5. Purchase/acquisition of production tools such as machinery and equipment.
6. Conducting or participating in Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)/capacity building/training, surveys, socialization, seminars, dissemination, exhibitions, or expos.
7. Domestic travel.
8. Honorarium for expert consultations, resource persons, evaluators, or respondents.
9. Registration/management of product or technology certifications such as patent or copyright management (other Intellectual Property) and Indonesian National Standards (SNI), including registration/management of permits related to the establishment of industries, production, distribution, and commercialization or implementation of products or technologies.
10. Registration of scientific articles for publication in national or international journals.
11. Duplication, binding, or printing for reporting.
12. International travel no more than once a year during the Invitational RISPRO funding period to attend seminars/conferences/exhibitions related to research outputs registered as patents or copyrights (other Intellectual Property) or scientific article publications approved by LPDP.

Invitational RISPRO funding cannot be used for the following purposes:

1. Purchase of land/property.
2. Purchase of operational vehicles.
3. Building/office construction.
4. Guarantees and loans to other parties.
5. Cash grants or aid to other parties or communities.
6. Other uses unrelated to achieving Invitational RISPRO funding outcomes.

1. Registration for Invitational RISPRO funding is conducted online by the Proposer who has previously received an invitation letter from LPDP.
