Are you aware that there is something different in the LPDP Scholarship Registration for 2024 Phase 1? Upon closer inspection, there is a new registration program called the Priority Scholarship. This is a new partnership program offered by the Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency for the nation's brightest sons and daughters who wish to pursue master's and doctoral degrees.

There are at least seven partnership programs with foreign entities offered in the Priority Scholarship. These seven Priority Scholarships are as follows:

1. LPDP Priority Scholarship - NTU MBA Program

2. LPDP Priority Scholarship - NTU Doctoral Program

3. LPDP Priority Scholarship – Campus France Master's Program

4. LPDP Priority Scholarship - UC Davis Doctoral Program

5. LPDP Priority Scholarship - UNSW Doctoral Program

6. Diktiristek-LPDP-OKP Priority Scholarship Master's Program

7. LPDP Priority Scholarship - NUS Master's Program in Entrepreneurship.

Each of these Priority Programs has its own list of destination campuses and attractive study programs in many fields. There are also Priority Scholarships specific to certain campuses and levels, such as the NTU Global MBA and Doctoral Priority Programs and the NUS Master's Program in Entrepreneurship.

So, what are the benefits of applying for the LPDP Priority Scholarship Program? This is certainly a great opportunity if you want to increase your chances of being accepted into the study program or campus offered in the Priority Scholarship.

The Priority Scholarship allows you to apply for two programs at once. You can apply for the Partnership/Priority Scholarship while still registering for the regular international campus destination route (General, Targeted, and Affirmation Scholarships).

The steps to register for the Priority Scholarship are as follows:

• Independently register for your chosen campus in the Priority Scholarship.

• Log in to the account at beasiswalpdp.kemenkeu.go.id and choose between the Priority and Regular Scholarship routes (selecting one of the General, Targeted, Affirmation Scholarship programs).

• Undergo the Administrative Selection, Scholastic Talent Selection (for those without a Letter of Acceptance), and Substantive Selection stages.

On the final announcement of the Substantive Selection on June 10, 2024, participants will receive results on whether they have passed the Priority Scholarship or the regular scholarship route (General, Targeted, Affirmation).

The Priority Scholarship was newly introduced in the 2024 LPDP registration. LPDP Scholarship Director Dwi Larso stated that the study programs in the Priority Scholarship were developed based on input and aspirations from various parties and support the country's development direction. Several sectors targeted in the Priority Scholarship include downstream processing, health, green industry, entrepreneurship, creative digital, and many more.

"Of course, you will only compete with a few people, definitely fewer than those applying through the Regular (General) or Affirmation or Targeted routes. Therefore, the likelihood of success is higher because it indeed focuses on these priority areas," said Dwi Larso in a Priority Scholarship webinar a few weeks ago.
