Jakarta, March 18, 2024 - "A lesson for friends, successful people are those who have good communication and networking skills."

This is a snippet of a sentence uttered by Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin in front of hundreds of awardees who are part of PK-226 Labuan Pelita.

Budi Gunadi, who has repeatedly appeared to provide motivation and advice, hopes that these hundreds of awardees will pay attention to these two aspects when learning and socializing.

PK-226, named Labuan Pelita, consists of 299 participants, with 121 males and 178 females from 31 provinces across Indonesia. There are 17 destination countries and 69 destination campuses chosen by the hundreds of PK-226 awardees.

Meanwhile, "You are learning not for school but for life. In Latin, 'Non schole, sed vitae discimus'" said Yanuar Nugroho, LPDP Review Committee, in a segment of advice to the hundreds of PK-227 Djamoe Dwipantara present.

On that occasion, the founder of the Nalar Institute redefined the purpose of learning itself. His hope is to instill the mindset that human life is inseparable from learning and that learning is lifelong.

PK-227 Djamoe Dwipantara totals 315 people, consisting of 156 males and 159 females, and is spread across 17 destination countries from 26 provinces in Indonesia. There are 227 awardees pursuing a Master's degree abroad and 48 domestically. There are 15 awardees pursuing a Doctorate degree domestically and 25 abroad.

Economics & Business Management is the most studied field with 83 awardees, followed by Engineering (45 awardees), Science and Mathematics (41 awardees), Computer & IT (23 awardees), Social & Political Sciences (20 awardees), and so on.

During the two batches of PK, national figures from the executive, bureaucratic, business and financial sectors, to academics, were present to share experiences, inspiration, and hopes with the PK participants.

PK-226 took place from February 25 to 29, 2024, and PK-227 took place from March 3 to 7, 2024. All PK activities were centralized in Jakarta and lasted for five days. This is where awardees from various parts of the archipelago gather, get to know each other, and cultivate networks.
