Endowment Fund for Education
The Indonesia Endowment Funds for Education (LPDP) is a non-echelon work unit at the Ministry of Finance. It puts the Financial Management Pattern of the Public Service Agency (BLU) into actual practice and manages the Endowment Funds for Education (DAP) pursuant to Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2019 on the Endowment Funds for Education.
Source of Funds
Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN)
The government's main source for allocating Endowment Funds in the Education Sector with the aim of developing national education, research, culture, and higher education;
Investment revenue
Income derived from the development of Endowment Funds in the Education Sector through short-term and / or long-term investments in securities and non-securities at home and / or abroad.
Other legitimate sources
Other sources in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations. Can be in the form of grants, the results of cooperation with other parties, income from technology transfer of research results, royalties on patent rights, third-party funds, trust funds, both from within and outside the country, and or other sources.
The Endowment Fund in the Education Sector can be developed in the form of short-term and/or long-term investments in domestic and/or foreign securities and non-securities. In carrying out the task of developing funds, LPDP can cooperate with third parties while still prioritizing sound business practices and managing risks, paying attention to the principles of good governance, and acting in accordance with statutory provisions.
