Productive Innovative Research

RISPRO funding is a research funding program aimed at enhancing the nation's competitive capabilities through the commercialization of products/technologies or the implementation of policies/governance or publication.

This is the mechanism of implementing the RISPRO Funding determined by the LPDP and regularly conducted, consisting of Commercial RISPRO and Policy/Governance RISPRO.

The implementation mechanism of RISPRO funding is based on themes predetermined by LPDP through an invitation mechanism.

It is research funding with themes predetermined by LPDP for basic research schemes through collaboration with other parties in the form of join-calls, matching funds, or co-funding.

This is research funding with specific themes provided or designated in accordance with the strategic direction and policies of the LPDP Advisory Board.

Food resilience, with themes:

• Development of breeding technology for food commodities

• Development of cultivation technology and utilization of sub-optimal land

• Post-harvest technology development

• Technology development for food resilience and independence; and

• Development of models or policies related to food resilience and independence

Creation/Utilization of New and Renewable Energy, with themes:

• Development of fuel substitution technology;

• Development of electricity generation technology;

• Development of energy conservation technology;

• Development of energy conservation technology;

• Development of technology for energy resilience, diversification, and strengthening of social communities; and

• Development of models or policies related to technology resilience, energy diversification, and strengthening of social communities.

Health and Medicine Technology Development, with themes:

• Development of bio-pharmaceutical product technology;

• Development of health equipment technology;

• Development of raw material technology for medicines; and

• Development of policies or models related to health and medicine.

Technology and Management Development of Transportation, with themes:

• Development of transportation safety technology and management;

• Development of technology to strengthen the national transportation industry;

• Development of infrastructure technology and supporting transportation systems; and

• Development of policies or governance related to transportation.

Information and Communication Technology Development, with themes:

• Development of information and communication technology infrastructure.
• Development of systems or platforms based on open source.
• Technology development to enhance information and communication technology content.
• Development of devices and supporting information and communication technology.
• Policy development or governance related to information and communication technology.

Defense and Security Technology Development, with themes:

• Development of motion-supporting technology.
• Development of striking force-supporting technology.
• Development of defense and security-supporting technology.
• Development of effective maritime security system technology, post-implementation of illegal ship sinking.
• Policy development or governance related to defense and security.

Advanced Material Technology Development, with themes:

• Development of strategic mineral management technology using local raw materials.

Maritime, with themes:

• Development of technology for sovereignty in frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped areas.
