Bali, December 6, 2023 - Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education Agency (LPDP) has achieved the prestigious Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Integrity Zone (ZI WBBM) designation directly conferred by the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reforms (PAN RB) on Wednesday (6/12) in Bali.

This prestigious award is granted to government institutions that excel in managing bureaucracy and providing the best services to the public. The ZI WBBM recognition is only conferred upon 24 selected units out of thousands across Indonesia. The Ministry of Finance, concurrently, is the ministry with the highest number of ZI WBBM accolades.

Previously, in 2016, LPDP had also earned the Corruption-Free Regional Integrity Zone (ZI-WBK) designation. This accomplishment demonstrates a sustained commitment and tangible efforts in maintaining integrity at LPDP.

The process towards ZI WBBM began two years ago with the signing of the ZI WBBM Declaration Charter by LPDP's directors on November 4, 2021. During the journey towards achieving ZI WBBM, LPDP continually expanded its services with a focus on innovation in six key areas of change.

These six areas of change include Change Management, Organizational Structure Arrangement, Civil Servant Human Resource Management, Performance Accountability, Strengthening Supervision and Risk Management, as well as Enhancing the Quality of Public Services.

In an effort to improve Change Management, LPDP internalized the values of the Ministry of Finance, such as Integrity, Professionalism, Synergy, Service, and Excellence, implementing these values through various internal activities.

In the field of organizational structure arrangement, LPDP regularly refines and reviews regulations and operational service standards. The use of information technology is also optimized through applications to enhance performance and services.

The improvement of the human resource management system is also a focus, with the implementation of an easily accessible Employee Information System policy aligned with the Know Your Employee (KYE) principle. Individual Performance Dialogues (IPD) for employees are also intensified.

In the area of performance accountability, LPDP aligns strategic goals, performance indicators, and risk management at the entity level to support organizational objectives. To strengthen supervision, LPDP actively conducts socialization, dissemination, and public campaigns related to anti-corruption and anti-gratification programs.

Integrity reinforcement is carried out through various LPDP communication channels, concurrently with the implementation of internal controls and the Three Lines of Defense oversight model by Management, Internal Compliance Unit (UKI), and Internal Audit Unit (SPI).

The enhancement of public services is directed towards refining the scholarship and research service information system and expanding innovative scholarship and research programs, such as e-Scholarship and eRISPRO.

The ZI WBBM award earned by LPDP is an appreciation for the unit's consistent efforts in improving integrity culture and providing outstanding services to the public.

Although winning awards is not the main goal, LPDP is committed to continuously refining its governance and business processes to maintain public trust and provide the best possible service to the community.
