Jakarta, November 14, 2023 - Congratulations to the participants who have passed the substance selection of the LPDP Scholarship Stage 2 and have been declared Candidates for LPDP Scholarships (CPB).
A total of 5,260 successful participants consist of 2,964 males and 2,314 females, comprising 1,890 domestic master's degree applicants, 1,967 international master's degree applicants, 481 domestic doctoral degree applicants, 391 international doctoral degree applicants, and 531 domestic specialist applicants. All successful participants come from LPDP-managed scholarship programs known as the General, Targeted, and Affirmative Action scholarships or also referred to as native LPDP scholarships.
The thousands of successful participants are required to attend the LPDP Candidate Scholarship Recipients Welcome event conducted online. This event serves as an official welcome to the LPDP family and includes guidance and essential information regarding the subsequent steps after passing the LPDP scholarship selection.
Present at the welcome event was LPDP Scholarship Director Dwi Larso, who congratulated the attending participants. Dwi Larso emphasized that the participants who passed the LPDP scholarship selection should take pride in being chosen to pursue their education at the master's, doctoral, and specialist levels, both domestically and internationally.
"You have been entrusted to advance our nation, an entrusted responsibility from all Indonesians, most of whom have not had the opportunity to apply for LPDP scholarships. So, it is essential for us to diligently seek the best sons and daughters to swiftly propel Indonesia towards a better future," expressed Dwi Larso on Tuesday (10/14) afternoon.
The Ministry of Finance through LPDP has committed to advancing Human Resources to support Indonesia Emas 2045 (Golden Indonesia). The benefits from the national budget #UangKita (#OurMoney) managed by LPDP through the Education Endowment Fund have facilitated more than 14,000 Indonesians in pursuing higher education, becoming competent and globally competitive contributors to the nation.
Also present were LPDP Recruitment and Selection Division Head, Andar Ramona Sinaga, and LPDP Scholarship Monitoring Subdivision Head, Ni Luh Putu Rina Maharani. Both elaborated on the search conditions for Unconditional Letter of Acceptance (LoA), Pre-Departure Preparation (PK), language enrichment, obligations, prohibitions for CPBs, as well as administrative and financial processes.
The LPDP Scholarship Stage 2 selection marks the final one for the year 2023. Every year, LPDP conducts two scholarship selections open to all Indonesian citizens based on applicable terms and conditions.
